Rules

Post by Diablo1399 » Thu Feb 26, 2015 4:35 am

OT4 was essentially a laissez-faire forum where people could post whatever the hell they wanted. Although this had a certain appeal, we discovered that a society without rules would eventually deteriorate into a shitfest. So this time around, there will be a few basic rules

1) Harassment, abuse, and intimidation are not free speech. Bullying will not be tolerated.
2) Do not spam the On Topic forum.
3) Posts on OT5 are totally public. If you wouldn’t say it IRL, don’t say it here.

It has literally been 10 years since OT4 was active, and I hope we are all wiser and more mature. So play nice.

Sounds sensible. How do you define "on topic" on a board called "off topic", though?

On-Topic = Stuff that people want to discuss seriously?
Welsh "I hope you catch genital warts you slut!!!!"
Dark "Now we know that Steph swallows, not spits."
Cars "I wouldn't do *anything*. I wouldn't rape someone or kill a bear."

The irony is not lost on me, but I anticipate On Topic will be our main forum. It's for general discussion without spam.

It's called subtext

You know, when you type something below something else. So the definition should always be below the words "Off Topic".

Is everyone clear on this now?
